World of Warcraft has officially unveiled the Trading Post catalog for October, introducing an array of exciting rewards. Players can look forward to a scarecrow-inspired transmog set, a selection of eerie weapons and armor, and the Depthstalker mount, which will be available as a free bonus. To collect these exclusive cosmetic items, players must complete Traveler’s Log tasks and exchange Trader’s Tender throughout October.
The Trading Post, an in-game store introduced during the early days of Dragonflight, offers a rotating selection of cosmetics that can be purchased using Trader’s Tender, a currency earned by completing monthly Traveler’s Log tasks. Currently, the Trading Post features a collection of pirate and Brewfest-themed cosmetics, which will be available until the end of September.
With October on the horizon, World of Warcraft has revealed the new cosmetics set to replace the current offerings. This month's catalog is brimming with spine-chilling rewards perfect for the Hallow's End season. Highlights include the Hand of Reshkigaal mount, the Ragged Harvest Golem transmog set complete with a matching fist weapon, and stylish black-and-white parasol toys and gloves to achieve an elegant gothic Victorian aesthetic. Beyond the Halloween theme, players can also acquire the Soot-Stained Shalewing pet, the Swift Zhevra mount, and a plethora of additional weapon and armor transmogs.

Players who fully complete their Traveler’s Logs in October will be rewarded with the Depthstalker mount. This technologically advanced jellyfish mount resembles the Protoform mounts from Shadowlands Patch 9.2 and is designed for use in various environments, whether underwater or while Skyriding. After a series of lackluster bonus rewards this year, the consecutive distribution of mounts in both September and October is a refreshing change.
While the specific Traveler’s Log tasks required to earn this reward have yet to be announced, there will be ample opportunities in October to complete them. Players can look forward to Timewalking events, the Darkmoon Faire, and a few days of Brewfest at the beginning of the month. Additionally, Hallow's End kicks off on October 18, along with World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary event, set to begin on October 22. With so many festivities on the calendar, players will have no shortage of options to finish their Traveler’s Log tasks.
However, fans may want to save some of their Trader’s Tender for October. World of Warcraft has announced that the class armor and transmog sets from last year will be returning to the Trading Post in November, with the added benefit that these items will no longer be class-restricted. With these stunning sets available to any eligible player, those who previously passed on them might want to seize the opportunity this time around.
