As part of Bungie's celebration for Destiny 2's 10th anniversary, players have the opportunity to earn the coveted Legend title. This prestigious title comes with a series of Triumphs, including one that can be particularly challenging: Accidental Generosity. To complete this Triumph, players must defeat enemies and collect a specific number of engrams within the Cosmodrome's Skywatch region.
While gathering engrams is typically straightforward, farming them in Skywatch can be quite time-consuming. To help you efficiently tackle the Accidental Generosity Triumph, here’s a handy trick to speed up the process.
The most effective method to farm engrams for the Accidental Generosity Triumph is by repeatedly defeating the respawning Ogre located near the regional chest in Skywatch. To find this elusive enemy, fast travel to Skywatch and head towards the wrecked cars and helicopters. You'll spot the Ogre's location just in front and slightly to the left of where you land.
Upon reaching the area with the old helicopters, leap over the rails and drop down to the platform below. Look for a hole in the wall that leads directly to the Ogre’s spawn point. Engage the Ogre with all your might to increase your chances of collecting a shiny engram, which will count towards your Triumph progress. Completing Accidental Generosity is essential for anyone aiming to earn the Legend title in Destiny 2.
To farm the Ogre effectively, you’ll need to enter a new instance of Skywatch, which can be done by teleporting back to the Skywatch fast travel point. Keep in mind that you might not always be placed in a different instance upon fast traveling, so be observant of your surroundings to ensure you’ve switched instances.
To maximize your engram drops while farming in Skywatch, consider participating in any active Public Events in the area. Completing Heroic versions of these events increases the likelihood of receiving engrams, so be sure to check the requirements before finishing an event.
Please note that farming engrams in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, whether fake or real, will not contribute to the Accidental Generosity Triumph.
Bungie has announced that players have until the release of Codename: Apollo, the first expansion following the end of the Light and Dark saga in 2025, to achieve the Legend title. In response to feedback about the tedious nature of farming engrams in Skywatch, Bungie has confirmed that they will be increasing engram drop rates to make this Triumph more achievable.
