Destiny 2 Guide: How to Acquire the Veteran Legend Armor Set

Since its release on September 9, 2014, Destiny has experienced a rollercoaster of events. Now, even with the defeat of the Witness and the conclusion of the Light and Dark Saga, there's still plenty of excitement for Destiny 2 players. Although details about the next expansion remain under wraps, Bungie is commemorating a decade of Destiny with a special 10th anniversary event.

As part of this celebration, players have the chance to earn a unique armor set called the Veteran Legend Armor Set. Here’s how you can secure this exclusive gear.

The 10th anniversary event kicked off on September 9th, right after the daily reset. While the event itself doesn’t come with in-game notifications, it’s live and ready for players to participate in.

How to Obtain the Veteran Legend Armor Set

To collect the Veteran Legend Armor Set, you need to locate all five of Cayde-6's hidden stashes scattered throughout the Tower in the Pale Heart. Each stash grants a different piece of the armor. Here’s where to find them:

1. First Stash: Start near the mailbox and ascend the stairs behind it. At the top, turn right and follow the path around the corner to discover the first stash.

2. Second Stash: Look for the stash behind the boxes where Cayde-6 stood before the completion of The Final Shape Campaign.

3. Third Stash: Descend the stairs leading to the Vanguard Command Table from Destiny 1. At the bottom, turn around to find the stash at the spot where Eris Morn used to be.

4. Fourth Stash: Head towards the blocked-off entrance to the Hangar. Pass the Cabal Guard and turn right towards the balcony to locate the stash.

5. Fifth Stash: In the Speaker's Chamber, where you also get the Exotic Khvostov, head to the right side of the window to find the final stash.

Important Note

Do not convert the Veteran Legend Armor Set into ornaments. After collecting all five pieces, visit the Tower social space on Earth and interact with the Special Deliveries Kiosk near Banshee-44 to access the ornamental version of the armor.

Special Features of the Veteran Legend Armor Set

Once you have all five pieces of the Veteran Legend Armor Set, the objectives for the Legend title will become available. To complete two of these objectives, you must wear either the armor set or its universal ornament version.
