Get ready, Travelers! A recent leak hints at a thrilling update coming in Genshin Impact's Version 5.3, potentially introducing two new 5-Star characters. As the Fontaine chapter nears its end, Genshin Impact is preparing to unveil fresh faces and new features. The highly anticipated release of Natlan on August 28, 2024, will kick off with Event Banners featuring Mualani and Kazuha. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming characters and features.
Fourth Anniversary Celebrations: Version 5.0 marks the game's fourth anniversary, offering players the chance to choose a 5-Star character from the Standard Banner for free. This anniversary tradition will continue in future events, and HoYoverse has promised new Standard Banners will be introduced. However, the standout feature of Version 5.0 is the Nightspirit's Blessing —a new combat mechanic exclusive to Natlan characters. This feature will be complemented by new Artifact Sets tailored to the Nightspirit, with each Natlan character bringing their unique twist to the gameplay.
Character Rollout and Event Banners:
-Xilonen is expected to debut in Version 5.1.
-Chasca will make her appearance in Version 5.2.
With these characters on the horizon, players already have an idea of the Natlan Event Banners. However, the latest leak from the trustworthy source hxg_diluc, originally from DK2, provides tantalizing details about Version 5.3, slated for release on January 1, 2025.
Mavuika – Pyro Claymore:
Mavuika is rumored to be a Pyro character wielding a Claymore. Given the trend of releasing region-specific Archons at the end of their respective storylines, Mavuika's appearance in Version 5.3 aligns with this pattern.
Ping – Hydro Polearm:
Ping, a Hydro Polearm user, is another character set to debut in Version 5.3. Multiple sources have hinted at Ping's role in the Lantern Rite festivities of 2025. Although she won't feature the Nightspirit's Blessing, Ping is expected to synergize with Xianyun, focusing on Plunging Attacks.
For Version 5.2, keep an eye out for Olorun, a 4-Star character. Meanwhile, Citlali, a Cryo Vision user, is rumored to be joining Version 5.3 as another 4-Star addition.
With these exciting updates on the horizon, Genshin Impact's future looks brighter than ever. Stay tuned for more details and prepare to embrace the new characters and features as they arrive in the world of Teyvat!
