A fresh Honkai: Star Rail leak suggests the arrival of a new playable Stoneheart and teases their potential abilities. The last Stoneheart added to the game was Jade in Version 2.3, the third member of the elite group to become playable. Since then, fans have eagerly anticipated the release of another member from this high-ranking faction.
The Ten Stonehearts of Honkai: Star Rail are powerful executives within the IPC, operating under the leadership of Diamond, an Emanator of Preservation. As a prominent faction in the Honkai: Star Rail universe, the IPC and its elite members, including the Stonehearts, have played significant roles in the game’s storyline, with Aventurine being particularly crucial during the Penacony arc.
So far, players have only encountered three of the Ten Stonehearts: Aventurine, Topaz, and Jade. However, all members were initially introduced in the Myriad Celestia trailer, heightening fan excitement about when they might make their next appearance. According to a recent leak, it seems the next playable Stoneheart could be arriving sooner than expected.
A leak by Uncle G7TDD8tv hints that either Opal or Diamond may be the next Stoneheart to join the roster. According to the leak, the upcoming character will have a shorter body model than Yanqing and will possess a unique ability to switch paths using their skill.
This path-changing ability resembles March 7th’s capability to switch between Imaginary and Ice, but with the added feature of changing paths mid-combat while maintaining the same build. The leak suggests this new Stoneheart could be introduced in Version 3.0 or later updates, as the Ten Stonehearts storyline is far from complete.
While Opal’s design has been previously revealed, fans know he’s a shorter character. Meanwhile, Diamond has not yet appeared in any official content, but as the leader of the Stonehearts, he holds a unique position of power rather than being an actual member of the group.
This makes it more likely that Opal will be the next playable Stoneheart. Although little official information about Opal has been released, it is confirmed that he holds the P46 rank within the IPC, placing him among the highest-ranking Stonehearts alongside Jade and Obsidian. It’s also known that both Opal and Diamond supported Aventurine’s return during his trial.
Unfortunately for Screwllum fans, the leak also brings disappointing news. It appears that Screwllum’s kit is still undergoing significant changes, and his final version is far from ready. Although previous leaks hinted that Screwllum would be playable soon, it seems that won't happen just yet.
As for Version 3.0, Honkai: Star Rail players still have some time before its release, as the game is currently in the second half of the 2.5 update. However, there are already rumors surrounding Version 2.7, with talk of Sunday and a 5-star Tingyun being introduced. Additionally, Rappa is set to debut soon, with her banner and Light Cone arriving in Version 2.6.
