Fortunately, Diablo 4 has implemented a somewhat predictable farming system for Mythic Uniques. Through a rare currency called Resplendent Sparks, players can now craft the exact Mythic Unique needed for their build. This guide will walk you through the crafting process, the costs involved, and tips for efficiently gathering Resplendent Sparks.

Steps to Crafting Mythic Uniques

Currently, there are two ways to craft Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4, both of which require two Resplendent Sparks—a rare currency earned by dismantling Mythic Uniques or defeating challenging bosses.

1. Blacksmith: Exchange two Resplendent Sparks for a random Mythic Unique.

2. Jeweler: Use two Resplendent Sparks plus Legendary Runes to craft a specific Mythic Unique (requires ownership of the Vessel of Hatred expansion).

Crafting Random Mythic Uniques: Mythic Unique Cache

Any Blacksmith in town can refine two Resplendent Sparks into a Mythic Unique Cache, costing 50,000,000 Gold. The resulting Mythic Unique is random, making this a practical option for building your Mythic Unique collection early in a season. However, if you have a particular item in mind, you’ll need to rely on Rune Crafting for a more targeted approach.

Best Ways to Farm Gold

The most efficient way to farm Gold this season is by participating in the Infernal Hordes activity. Play the highest difficulty tier your build can handle, then deposit all collected Aether into the Gold chest at the end of the run. This method yields over 10 million Gold per run.

Crafting Specific Mythic Uniques: Rune Crafting

For a more direct approach, visit the Jeweler and access the "Rune Crafting" tab under the Mythic Unique section. This displays all the Mythic Uniques available for your class, with each item requiring two Resplendent Sparks and several Legendary Runes. The type of Rune needed depends on the specific item you want to craft.

To access this feature, you’ll need the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

To acquire Legendary Runes, complete Kurast Undercity runs, hunt Elite monsters, and engage in endgame content. You can also transmute common Runes into rarer versions at the Jeweler through the Rune Crafting menu. Repeat the process until you obtain the desired Runes for your Mythic Unique, or consider trading Runes with other players if luck isn’t on your side.

Earning Resplendent Sparks

As of the Season of Hatred Rising, there are four primary methods for obtaining Resplendent Sparks:

1. Dismantling Mythic Uniques: Each dismantled Mythic Unique at the Blacksmith yields one Resplendent Spark. Tormented bosses are currently the top source of Mythic Uniques, with each encounter offering five opportunities (1.5% each) to drop one.

2. First Tormented Boss Defeat: The first Tormented boss you defeat each season will drop a Resplendent Spark. This is a one-time reward per season, applicable to any pinnacle boss you summon.

3. First Uber Lilith Defeat: Defeating the Level 100 version of Lilith in a season rewards a Resplendent Spark. This encounter varies slightly from the campaign version of the fight and cannot be farmed.

4. Season Journey Completion: Completing the final stage of the Season Journey grants a Destroyer’s Cache containing one Resplendent Spark.

Overall, Tormented bosses are the most reliable source of Resplendent Sparks.
