The Vessel of Hatred expansion, the first major DLC for Diablo 4, picks up the narrative where the base game left off. Players will follow Neyrelle as she seeks a way to destroy Mephisto's soulstone, while also experiencing the introduction of the new Spiritborn class and exploring the jungle region of Nahantu.

To mark this significant release, Diablo 4 will host a month-long Twitch Drop event where viewers can earn various in-game items. Kicking off with the expansion’s launch on October 8, players who watch six hours of Diablo 4 content on Twitch will be rewarded with weapon and back trophy transmogs for the Sorcerer and Necromancer.

The following three weeks will feature rotating rewards for the other original classes: Barbarian in week two, Rogue in week three, and Druid in week four. To collect all cosmetics, fans need to ensure they watch six hours of gameplay each week.

During this promotional period, fans who gift two subscriptions to streamers in the Diablo 4 category will unlock the Ghost of the Conquered mount. Gifting a total of four subscriptions will also reward players with the corresponding Glory of the Victor mount armor, ensuring they can traverse Nahantu in style.

While players always appreciate free transmogs, the items available through the Vessel of Hatred Twitch Drops are particularly appealing. The weapons are distinct yet understated, allowing them to complement various transmogs seamlessly. The back trophies make for perfect accessories, fitting the jungle theme of Nahantu in Diablo 4. Additionally, the weapons are available in both Jungle Moss and Twitch Purple color variants, enhancing their visual versatility.

However, it's worth noting that these Twitch Drops do not include a weapon for the new Spiritborn class. Players eager to obtain a unique weapon transmog can purchase qualifying Trolli products to unlock the Wyrmcutter. While the exact design remains under wraps until the Vessel of Hatred launches, many speculate that it will resemble a Spiritborn Glaive.
