Exciting Free Update for Astro Bot: New Levels and a Stellar Blade Cameo!

PlayStation has announced a free update for Astro Bot, set to arrive later this year, that will introduce exciting new content to the already beloved platformer. Despite its success, one common critique of Astro Bot is its relatively short playtime, with dedicated players able to earn the Platinum Trophy in under 20 hours. During the latest State of Play event, PlayStation unveiled a new Astro Bot trailer that highlights what fans can expect in the upcoming free update, scheduled for fall 2024. The update will introduce five new online speedrun levels and 10 additional bots to rescue. Players can look forward to themed levels, including a water and ice stage and a jungle level reminiscent of Donkey Kong’s iconic wooden barrels. Among the new VIP bots are Eve from Stellar Blade and what appears to be four distinct Helldivers, adding even more crossover fun to Astro Bot’s universe.
