Overwatch 2 has introduced its latest Mythic weapon skin, Midnight Sun, designed for the support hero Ana. Packed with exclusive sound effects, visual flair, and distinct animations, this solar-themed skin is the second Mythic weapon skin to grace the game. Players can unlock it with 80 Mythic Prisms earned through the Premium Battle Pass or purchase it outright for $40.

Mythic weapon skins are a new addition to Overwatch 2, first appearing midway through Season 11. These cosmetics elevate traditional weapon skins with unique heads-up display (HUD) elements, dynamic in-game reactions, and special weapon animations. Although the price point is high, players can obtain 1,000 Overwatch Coins (valued at $10) by completing the Battle Pass, which is enough to snag the mythic Anubis Reaper skin instead. Ana mains who decide to pass on Midnight Sun this season can save their Mythic Prisms from future Battle Passes, as the skin is expected to remain a permanent fixture in the Mythic shop.
