I like this podcast app, A LOT. Well organized and integrated with Android Auto too! Plus of course great content. So please Google, don't shut it down. I use YouTube music, TV, and premium too, but they're kind of a mess already. Podcast content there doesn't make sense and didn't fit or work well when I tried it.

Because what happened with the switch forced from Google play music to YouTube music (it was a disaster of the unmitigated variety). I would caution anyone from building a playlist or getting comfortable on a Google product. They will change it abruptly for no reason to a worse app. More reliable alternatives likely exist... I wrote this comment in 2020... look how things have turned out! Ridiculous and predictable!!

This was the best app for podcasts because I was able to download and listen to them offline while also not having to deal with ads. Honestly sad that it's gonna be discontinued. Sucks because I hate youtube music, and I'll have to find a different app for my podcasts.

I use it every day. Works well and no issues. I have only changed my review to one star because they are sunsetting the cleanest pod app out there. I don't know why Google is replacing this with YouTube music. I already have Spotify and can listen to my pods there. But I liked keeping my pods separate from my music. Oh well Google another bad decision based on streamlining your services.

Best place to listen to your favorite Audio Podcasts. *Update Review: October 9th 2023* Please Google don't shutdown this App. I don't want my podcasts mixed with my music on YouTube Music. I only want a dedicated podcast app (Google Podcasts) so new episodes get automatically downloaded (for offline use just in case I'm in a area with bad or no data connection) when new episode of a specific podcast I subscribe to go live as well as getting a dedicated notification of that episode.

I'm sorry to see Google Podcasts go. The feature I like best is the ability to queue the podcasts I want to listen to at one shot. At least this spurred me to explore other podcast players that have great features, and definitely NOT YouTube Music.
