Recent data mined from Genshin Impact suggests that Xilonen's exploration capabilities may face significant limitations, prompting fans to manage their expectations for the highly anticipated 5-Star Geo character. While many players focus on optimizing their characters for the Spiral Abyss, having the right team for overworld exploration is equally important. Characters like Wanderer and Yelan are especially valuable for navigating cliffs and covering long distances with ease.
Natlan characters in Genshin Impact are known for their Nightsoul's Blessing and exploration abilities powered by Phlogiston. However, these abilities are primarily effective within the Natlan region, as the broader world of Teyvat lacks Phlogiston, thus restricting the utility of these abilities outside their home region.
According to HomDGCat's recent findings in the beta build for Version 5.1, Xilonen’s exploration skills will follow this trend. Despite her exciting ability kit, Xilonen's rollerblades will only be functional for 2 seconds outside Natlan before needing a cooldown. This duration is notably shorter compared to Yelan's Elemental Skill, which lasts 3 seconds and can be extended with the first Constellation. On the upside, Xilonen excels at vertical travel, with her Elemental Skill lasting 6 seconds for climbing and extending to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.
- Climbing Mode: 5 seconds base duration, extendable up to 20 seconds with Phlogiston.
- Sprinting Mode: 2 seconds base duration, extendable up to 5 seconds with Phlogiston.
As an upcoming Geo character, Xilonen is generating considerable excitement within the community, especially among players of Neuvillette and Navia. Her potential as a versatile 5-Star Support, akin to a Geo version of Kazuha with healing abilities and a highly coveted second Constellation, has captured interest. Xilonen is set to feature on the Event Banners during the first half of Version 5.1.
Although her sprint ability may seem underwhelming outside Natlan, Xilonen’s vertical mobility could offer a unique advantage, especially since Yelan’s Elemental Skill cannot assist with climbing. The option to include both Xilonen and Yelan on the same team may help balance out their respective strengths and weaknesses, benefiting players who seek a well-rounded team in Genshin Impact.
