This tease is just a fraction of the ongoing activities for Yoshida and his team. In addition to crafting new patch content for Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail, the developers are putting the finishing touches on the long-awaited PC port of Final Fantasy 16. Set to release on September 17, the PC version will debut just over a year after its original PS5 launch. PC gamers eager to experience Final Fantasy 16 can download a free demo on Steam or the Epic Games Store, though it will require at least 16GB of available SSD storage to run smoothly.

While Creative Studio 3 is heavily involved with Final Fantasy 14, they are also working on another intriguing project. As reported in a Famitsu interview, translated by Twitter user @Genki_JPN, Yoshida confirmed that alongside Fantasian: Neo Dimension and the Final Fantasy series, Creative Studio 3 is engaged in a "small-scale" game endeavor. Yoshida did not specify the nature of this new project but indicated that Creative Studio 3 plans to continue exploring diverse projects in the future.

Yoshida also reiterated Square Enix's commitment to making games available across as many platforms as possible, exemplified by the upcoming PC release of Final Fantasy 16. Following the Famitsu interview, fans have been buzzing on social media, speculating about Creative Studio 3's next project. Among the most popular theories are remakes of Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy 9, with fans suggesting that a remake could be a more manageable undertaking compared to a full-scale new title.

With ongoing updates for Dawntrail and the continued work on both Fantasian and the Final Fantasy 16 port, Creative Studio 3 has a packed schedule. Fans eagerly await further details about this mysterious new project and when Yoshida’s team will fully unveil it.
