The Pokémon GO Max Out Season has introduced Dreepy, Drakloak, and Dragapult to the game, with the 2024 GO All Out event marking their debut. This event features Galar Pokémon like Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and Dreepy for the first time, offering players the chance to catch and evolve these exciting new monsters.
Dreepy first appeared in Pokémon GO on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10 AM local time, as part of the GO All Out event. Players who catch Dreepy can evolve it into Drakloak and eventually into Dragapult. This guide provides details on how to find and evolve these Pokémon and explores their potential Shiny variants.
Dreepy is a dual Dragon and Ghost-type Pokémon with a maximum CP of 867. Its stats include 117 ATK, 61 DEF, and 99 STA, making it a modest battler on its own but a formidable contender once evolved. To get Dreepy and its evolutions, you have several options:
1. Wild Encounters:
During the GO All Out 2024 event, Dreepy’s spawn rate is significantly increased. To maximize your chances of encountering Dreepy, use Pokémon GO items like Incense, Lure Modules, and Weather Boost. Here’s how to increase wild spawns:
- Find a PokeStop in areas with windy or foggy weather.
- Attach a Lure Module to the PokeStop.
- Activate a Pokémon GO Incense.
- Roam around the area to attract more Dreepy.
2. Research Tasks:
- Participating in featured Research tasks, such as the Galar Calling Special Research during the event, can also lead to Dreepy encounters. These tasks are guaranteed to reward you with a Dreepy encounter.
3. Egg Hatching:
- Dreepy can also hatch from 10 KM Eggs. Hatching multiple 10 KM Eggs will increase your chances of getting a Dreepy.
Once you have a Dreepy, you can evolve it into Drakloak and then Dragapult using Dreepy Candy:
- Evolve Dreepy into Drakloak using 25 Dreepy Candy.
- Evolve Drakloak into Dragapult using 100 Dreepy Candy.
As of their introduction in the GO All Out event on September 3, 2024, the Shiny variants of Dreepy, Drakloak, and Dragapult have not been released. Niantic typically does not launch Shiny versions of new Pokémon simultaneously with their regular forms. However, it’s possible that Shiny variants of these Pokémon could be featured in future events. Stay tuned for updates to see if Shiny Dreepy, Drakloak, and Dragapult become available.
With these tips, you’re ready to dive into the Max Out Season and add these new Pokémon to your collection. Enjoy the hunt!
