Pokémon GO’s much-awaited Halloween event has finally arrived, and players are eager to know how they can collect this year’s costumed Pokémon. With eight different Pokémon dressed in festive attire available for a limited time, this event is the perfect opportunity to snag some of the rarest creatures in the game.

This year's Halloween event introduces plenty of exciting content, including the arrival of Morpeko and a Dynamax Gastly. But, as always, the spotlight is on the costumed Pokémon that players can capture. Here’s a guide on how to catch each of these special Pokémon during Part 1 of the Halloween event, along with their shiny availability.

All Costumed Pokémon in Halloween Event Part 1

The method of acquiring these themed Pokémon depends on which one players are after. Some of the costumed Pokémon can be found through the Pokémon GO Halloween Timed Research, while others are locked behind the Costume Party Premium Timed Research. These are specific to Part 1 of the event, but additional methods to catch them will likely be available during Part 2 of the Halloween celebration.

It’s important to note that both the Morpeko Onesie and the Costume Party Research come with a price. Players will need to purchase tickets—priced at $5 and $2 respectively—to unlock these exclusive research tasks.
