In October 2024, Pokemon GO introduced Dynamax Falinks as a Tier 3 Max Battle Boss. Players lucky enough to defeat this powerful foe may even get the chance to encounter a Shiny version of Dynamax Falinks. However, to succeed in this challenging Max Battle, selecting the right battle counters is essential.
As a Fighting-type Pokémon, Falinks boasts a maximum CP of 2665, and its strength is amplified as a Max Battle Boss in Pokemon GO. To participate in this battle, you’ll need 400 Max Particles, but the good news is that the particles will only be deducted if the boss is defeated. While players can tackle the battle solo, up to four players can team up for a better chance at victory.
Understanding Falinks’ weaknesses and resistances is crucial for building the right strategy. Keep in mind that remote players cannot join this Max Battle, and must be within 80 meters of the designated Power Spot.
Falinks Stats in Pokemon GO
- Attack: 193
- Defense: 170
- Stamina: 163
Weaknesses
Falinks is vulnerable to the following types of moves:
- Fairy-type
- Flying-type
- Psychic-type
Resistances
On the other hand, Falinks is resistant to these types of moves:
- Bug-type

- Rock-type
Taking on Dynamax Falinks in a Max Battle is no easy feat, especially as a Tier 3 Max Battle Boss. To defeat this tough opponent, you need to strategically choose Pokémon that have powerful counters aligned with Falinks' weaknesses. Aim for Pokémon that can use Same-Type Attack Bonus (STAB) moves from Falinks' weak points for maximum impact.

Dynamax Metagross | Zen Headbutt(Psychic-type) | Psychic (Psychic-type) |
Dynamax Charizard | Air Slash (Flying-type) | Overheat (Fire-type) |

Dynamax Greedent | Mud Shot (Ground-type) | Body Slam (Normal-type) |

Falinks has access to two Fast Moves and three Charged Moves in Pokemon GO. While most of these moves are Fighting-type, there is one Bug-type Charged Move to be aware of. The best moveset for Falinks consists of Counter and Superpower, providing an impressive damage per second (DPS) of 11.90. Make sure to be prepared for these attacks when engaging in battle.
