While completing the game’s quests can provide some Reeve, the best and most consistent way to earn money is by defeating enemies in dungeons. But there are some effective strategies to maximize your earnings and build up your wealth fast.

Unlock the Merchant Archetype

When you reach Grand Trad, be sure to follow the questline with Brigitte, as it leads to unlocking the powerful Merchant Archetype. Start by leveling your Wisdom to level 2, then speak to Brigitte outside the igniter store. Complete the dungeon she directs you to, and you’ll unlock the Merchant Archetype, a crucial step for boosting your Reeve.

With this Archetype, you’ll gain access to the Alchemy passive skill, which grants you extra Reeve with every enemy you defeat in the overworld, outside of Squad Battles. This skill is particularly useful when you’re over-leveled for certain areas, making dungeon grinding a quick way to rack up Reeve. Great early spots for this include the Trance Crystals area in the Regalith Grand Cathedral and the desert region. Defeat enemies in these locations, and watch your savings quickly grow.
