In the Black Ops 6 Zombies map, Terminus Island, players will embark on a quest to seek pirate loot while grappling with the cursed fates of a crew of mutineers. This side quest adds a layer of excitement to the gameplay, and it’s just one of many secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Step 1: Acquire Melee Macchiato and Locate the Captain’s Quarters

To kick off this side quest, players must first obtain the Perk-a-Cola Melee Macchiato, which is located on the bottom floor of the Bio Lab. Once you have the perk, head over to the Sea Caves. There, behind the Speed Cola Perk Machine, you’ll find a cracked wall adorned with sharp rocks. Use a melee attack on this wall to break it open, revealing Captain Greg’s skeleton. Upon interacting with him, Captain Greg will mark a random location on your map.

Step 2: Find the Watch Location Using the Treasure Map

Each player will receive a unique spot to visit based on Captain Greg’s treasure map. To locate it, simply look for the red X and set sail on a boat to the sea. You’ll need to cross-reference Captain Greg’s map with your own, which can be accessed via the middle tab in the options menu.

When you arrive at the marked spot, dive underwater to discover a yellow glow on the seabed. Here, you will find a Watch that you can collect. After retrieving it, return to Captain Greg and interact with him again to continue the dialogue.

Step 3: Gather Molotovs and Burn Captain Greg’s Crew

Captain Greg will now assign you the task of incinerating the skeletal remains of the crew responsible for his demise. To do this, you’ll need Molotovs. These can be obtained by defeating zombies randomly, or you can secure them more reliably by spending 350 Salvage at a Crafting Table. Once you have three Molotovs, it’s time to venture to three specific islands.

On each island, you will find a skeleton. Throw a Molotov at each skeleton to spawn a Mangler, which you must defeat to collect a Cursed Coin. Here are the locations for the Cursed Coins:

- Castle Rock Island: Travel east to Castle Rock Island. Near the GobbleGum machine, look for a skeleton buried in the sand. Throw a Molotov to spawn Eridicad and defeat it.

- Shipwreck: Head west to the Shipwreck. Find the skeleton leaning against the central mast. Throw a Molotov to summon and kill Krixbia.

- Temple Island: Navigate to the northwestern corner of the map, where Temple Island is located. The skeleton can be found lying on a rock in the dip between the rocks. Use a Molotov to spawn Noctoomi.

Once you have defeated all three Manglers and collected their Cursed Coins, return to the Sea Cave and interact with Captain Greg again. In gratitude, he will bestow upon you a treasure of Legendary weapons, each randomly filled with various attachments and weapon classes. The treasure map should now direct you to Crab Island on the southern part of the map, marked with a red X.

Step 4: Survive 3 Rounds on Crab Island to Get the Cursed Talisman

Equipped with your new loot, prepare to survive three consecutive rounds on Crab Island, located south of Terminus Island. After completing the three rounds, a golden chest will appear between the wall-buy and the ammo crate. Interact with the chest to claim the Cursed Talisman. Upon acquiring it, you will unlock the Treasure Hunter achievement and receive a unique Power-Up.

The Cursed Talisman can be equipped throughout the match and offers players passive Double Points, rewarding them with double points for every kill. However, beware—if you get hit by a zombie, you may lose a percentage of your total points, which can vary from 5% to 15%, or potentially more. This introduces a high-risk element to using the talisman. If you decide you no longer want it, you can return the Cursed Talisman to the treasure chest, and it will not carry over to your next game.
