A recent leak has surfaced regarding the anticipated release order of new Natlan characters in Genshin Impact. As Version 5.1 approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the introduction of the 5-star character Xilonen. However, questions linger about the release timelines for other highly anticipated characters, including Mavuika and Citlali.
With the launch of Genshin Impact Version 5.0, players were introduced to several Natlan characters during the Archon Quest. So far, only Kachina, Mualani, and Kinich have become playable. While the second phase of the update is still ongoing, numerous leaks concerning future patches have emerged within the community, including news of a Natlan map expansion in Version 5.2. A recent leak appears to offer insights into the order in which these Natlan characters will be released.
According to the latest leak from HomDGCat, the character IDs for both current and upcoming playable Natlan characters have been revealed. The order begins with Kachina, Kinich, and Mualani, followed by the confirmed arrival of Xilonen in Version 5.1. Following Xilonen, the leak lists Chasca and Ororon, with Mavuika, Citlali, and finally Iansan rounding out the lineup.
This leak seems to support earlier rumors about the character banners in Genshin Impact Version 5.2, which suggested that Chasca and Ororon would debut in that update, with Mavuika making her appearance in Version 5.3. Additionally, these character IDs might indicate the release order for the remaining Natlan characters, assuming the game continues to follow the pattern established with the Hydro Nation from Fontaine. In that case, all characters were launched in the same order as their playable IDs, except for Sigewinne, whose banner was delayed until Version 4.7.
Interestingly, the leaked Natlan character ID list leaves two slots open toward the end, seemingly reserved for the much-rumored Madame Ping and another character from Liyue, set to appear during the next Lantern Rite event. A similar pattern occurred with the Fontaine character ID list, where Gaming and Xianyun were skipped in the release order. Additionally, the leak indicates that Capitano currently does not have a playable ID and remains classified as an NPC, despite many fans eagerly anticipating the chance to summon the Fatui Harbinger.
As for Genshin Impact Version 5.1, the update is expected to launch on October 9. Xilonen's first banner will be featured during the first half of this update. While Xilonen appears to be a strong Geo support character, Mavuika's banner is arguably the most highly anticipated among all the Natlan characters. Players looking to save up for the Pyro Archon can take advantage of Genshin Impact’s latest web event, offering free Primogems and various rewards.
