For players of Genshin Impact, earning achievements is just as vital as exploring the map for Primogems, especially for those aiming to collect characters. Each achievement rewards a modest amount of Primogems, but when combined, they contribute significantly to your collection.
In the Night’s Trials of Natlan, each challenge offers three achievements: the first grants five Primogems, the second gives ten, and the third rewards twenty. This totals 35 Primogems for every boss fight, making it an appealing target for character collectors.
To successfully conquer Tlatzacuilotl, it's crucial to grasp the mechanics of the boss fight. Tlatzacuilotl can only be damaged by one specific attack type, and you must dodge at least one of its attacks to inflict significant damage. Each dodge you execute will enhance your subsequent attack, allowing you to stack up to three dodges for increased damage output.
At a certain point during the battle, Tlatzacuilotl will generate a shield and gain access to new attacks. Despite these changes, the core mechanics remain consistent—continue dodging and follow up with an attack to break through its defenses.
After your first victory against Tlatzacuilotl, you’ll unlock the initial achievement for this Night’s Trial. The second achievement poses more of a challenge: you need to break Tlatzacuilotl's shield with a single attack. To accomplish this, successfully dodge three of its attacks, allowing you to launch a powerful strike. Keep in mind that the stacking effect lasts for about 15 seconds, so you must dodge three times within this timeframe to maximize your damage potential.
Finally, similar to other Night’s Trials in Genshin Impact, the third achievement is earned by defeating Tlatzacuilotl without taking any damage. This can be quite challenging, as you'll need to avoid every attack while still dealing damage to the boss.
To locate Tlatzacuilotl’s Special Obsidian Totem, head to the Sulfurous Veins, where it's concealed behind a rock. There are several Waypoints available to help you reach the Tlatzacuilotl Obsidian Totem. Be prepared to solve a minor puzzle to remove the rock blocking your path and gain access to the battle.
