Genshin Impact has announced an exciting opportunity for players to earn a substantial amount of free Primogems in the coming days. As the game’s most valuable currency, Primogems are essential for acquiring both Intertwined and Acquaint Fates, which players use to summon new characters.
Each Fate costs 160 Primogems, but Intertwined Fates are particularly sought after due to their use in the Limited Character Banner, which changes approximately every three weeks. Acquaint Fates are utilized on the Standard Banner, featuring seven five-star characters that players can also obtain by losing a 50/50 chance on the Limited Banner.
While Genshin Impact operates on a gacha system, primarily generating revenue through character banners, it generously offers numerous opportunities for players to collect Primogems for free through various promotions. The end of September is especially significant, coinciding with the game's anniversary, when players can expect a windfall of Primogems in a short span. According to the latest official announcement, players will be able to collect a total of 1,600 Primogems during this celebratory period—enough for a ten-wish pull, which guarantees at least one four-star character.
• September 28: 400 Primogems, 1 Firstborn Firesprite
• September 29: 400 Primogems, 2 Fragile Resins
• September 30: 400 Primogems, 1 Sanctifying Elixir
• October 1: 400 Primogems, 1 Kaboom Box
Many fans have expressed that they had forgotten about the anniversary rewards, and these Primogems will undoubtedly enhance their chances of obtaining Kinich, the featured five-star character. Kinich is a formidable Dendro DPS unit, boasting a unique grappling hook mechanic that sets him apart from others.
In addition to Kinich, players can also look forward to summoning the iconic Raiden Shogun, the popular Inazuma Archon, who is part of the current double banner. Despite being released over three years ago, Raiden Shogun remains a top-tier character due to her versatility across various team compositions.
Some players are already planning to save as many Primogems as possible in anticipation of Natlan's Pyro Archon, Mavuika, whose release date has yet to be officially confirmed. However, various reliable leakers suggest that Mavuika is likely to debut during Genshin Impact Version 5.3, expected to launch in the first half of January, following HoYoverse's typical update schedule.
