Zenless Zone Zero Launches Version 1.2 Update

The latest update for Zenless Zone Zero, Version 1.2, has officially launched, bringing fresh content and exciting new characters for players to explore. This is the third major post-launch update since the game’s release, arriving in mid-September and packed with enticing features, including two new Agents that can now be recruited into the game.

In August, HoYoverse introduced Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1, which saw the much-anticipated arrival of Jane Doe to the game’s roster. Alongside her debut, players were treated to new additions like Electric Defense specialist Seth Lowell and Electric Stun expert Qingyi. Version 1.1 also brought seven new events and introduced story missions such as “Undercover R&B is a Special Episode” and “The Case of a Missing Bangboo.” To further enhance team compositions, powerful new W-Engines were introduced, including Ice-Jade Teapot, Sharpened Stinger, Peacekeeper Specialized, Gilded Blossom, and Rank S Officer Cui from the Bangboo series.

Version 1.2 Brings New Agents Caesar King and Burnice White

With the launch of Version 1.2, Zenless Zone Zero has added two new Agents to its ever-expanding lineup. Caesar King, a Rank S Defense Agent, heads the Sons of Calydon faction and can be recruited from the Signal Search banner, available until October 16. Following this, Burnice White, another Rank S Agent with fire elemental abilities, will be available in the Born to Burn banner running from October 16 to November 5. Like Caesar, Burnice is also aligned with the Sons of Calydon.

The update also introduces powerful new weapons, known as W-Engines, including Caesar’s signature weapon, the Tusks of Fury, which boosts shield capabilities for Defense units while enhancing overall party damage. Soon to follow will be Burnice’s signature weapon, the Flamemaker Shaker. Players can also expect to obtain new gear such as the Bangboo Red Moccus, Proto Punk Drive Discs, and Chaos Jazz, while exploring the newly added New Eridu Outer Ring map. Additionally, 11 new events, including Ridu for You, Overlor's Feast, and Advanced Bounty - Routine Cleanup, are now available to keep players engaged.

Leaks Hint at More Characters and Features on the Horizon

Though Version 1.2 has only just landed, the Zenless Zone Zero community is already buzzing about leaks that hint at future content. One leak suggests that Nicole, a previously available character, could be making her return, giving players a second opportunity to add her to their collection. Other leaks tease the introduction of new characters, Lighter and Yanagi, indicating that the developers are actively working to expand the game’s roster and enhance the overall experience for players.

With so much new content and more on the way, Zenless Zone Zero continues to captivate its players, offering a dynamic blend of characters, events, and gameplay features that are sure to keep fans coming back for more.
