Genshin Impact Reveals Most Owned 5-Star Characters in Version 5.0

A fascinating new chart has surfaced, highlighting the most widely owned five-star characters in Genshin Impact's current Version 5.0. The game's roster is divided into two main rarity tiers: five-star and four-star characters. Five-star units are much harder to come by, as they require 90 wishes to guarantee a pull, compared to the 10-wish pity for four-star characters.

Genshin Impact's character acquisition system follows a gacha model, allowing players to obtain up to four limited five-star characters per update—two for each banner cycle. The current Limited Character Banner features two five-star heroes: the new Dendro character, Kinich, and the beloved Inazuma Archon, Raiden Shogun.

Twitter user hxg_diluc has shared a detailed chart showing which five-star characters are most commonly owned. The poll, which sampled over 84,000 accounts, focuses exclusively on limited five-star characters, excluding those from the Standard Banner. Topping the chart, with a 94.8% ownership rate, is Kaedehara Kazuha, the famous Ronin from Inazuma. Fans were surprised to see Kazuha leading the list, especially considering that his initial release banner didn’t generate much revenue compared to others. Released in Version 1.6, just before the introduction of the Inazuma region, many players chose to save their Primogems for upcoming characters. However, Kazuha has since proven himself to be one of the most versatile and powerful support units in the game.

Rumors suggest that Nahida may receive a rerun soon, which could boost her ranking even higher in the future.

The fourth spot is occupied by Yelan, Liyue's Hydro user known for her distinctive playstyle. Yelan excels as an off-field support character, and the banner that featured both her and Hu Tao holds the record for the highest revenue generated in Genshin Impact history.
