GOA

GOA is the official mobile authentication tool from Grading Owl Authentication that lets users verify the authenticity of GOA-graded cards quickly and reliably. The app reads an embedded NFC chip or accepts a certification number to retrieve the card’s grading details, so users can confirm provenance with a simple tap or manual lookup. GOA also stores each verification in an Activity log, allowing users to revisit past checks and track their search history within the app. This compact utility focuses on straightforward validation of GOA-graded cards using the card’s cryptographic authenticator and a simple interface for lookups.

Key Features

⭐ Tap-to-verify using the NFC chip embedded in each GOA-graded card, reading the card’s unclonable cryptographic authenticator.

⭐ Manual certification number lookup when NFC is not available or when users prefer to enter the ID directly.

⭐ Instant access to grading details stored in the GOA record so users can confirm the card’s assigned grade and metadata.

⭐ Activity page that records each check, letting users revisit previous verifications and maintain a searchable history.

⭐ Lightweight tool designed specifically to validate GOA-graded cards without extra steps or external tools.

Advantages

✅ Fast verification: a single tap reads the card and retrieves grading information almost instantly.

✅ Strong security: checks rely on an unclonable cryptographic authenticator embedded in each card.

✅ Flexible lookup options: use NFC or enter a certification number manually as a reliable fallback.

✅ Built-in Activity log provides traceability and easy access to past searches for auditability.

Disadvantages

❎ Tap verification requires an NFC-capable device to read the card’s chip.

❎ The app only verifies cards that have been graded and encoded by GOA, so it cannot authenticate non-GOA graded items.
