I am not a seasoned photographer but would like to attempt more astrophotography. I have read many of the comments, both good and bad and what helped in my decision to purchase the app was the developers attention to the comments. Questions were answered and nothing seemed to out of place. Great job... wish all developers did this. As far as the app, seems great and ALOT of tutorials on youtube by the developer. Can't wait to post my pics...

I've had PhotoPills for many years and used it frequently. A great and very useful app. However my phone (S22 Ultra) recently stopped working and had to be sent away for repair. Now returned and most apps reinstalled automatically - except PhotoPills! I've had to reinstall from the Play Store and pay £9.95 again for it! Not impressed. Why can't PhotoPills save/recognise my phone/account?

Fantastic app. I'm generally a cheapskate, but this app is worth the money. On short notice I had a chance to shoot the Milky Way in a remote location. Within a minute of opening this app I more or less had my shot all planned out with the confidence that it would turn out well.

An excellent app to help your photography. You can place a pin on a map, angle it towards what you want to photograph, and then advance or rewind the time flow chart to see what angle the sun will be at each hour, where the moon will be, the best time for the Golden or Blue hour - you name it. Worth picking up.

I only use a fraction of what this app is capable of, but I adore how it tells me when golden hour is. I think I once had my phone set to the wrong time zone, which messed me up, but the app even adapts for the time change. At first I was so confused as to how one day golden hour was at 5:15 and the next day it was 4:15. That's why I was so glad I checked the app, though, because I hadn't thought of the time change and would have been scheduling photos in the dark.
