Helldivers 2: Jump Pack is getting an upgrade in Upcoming Patch

Helldivers 2 recently rolled out its highly anticipated "buff everything" update, which enhanced 30 weapons, including the flamethrower, and improved 11 stratagems. This major overhaul has brought many players back to the game.

Now, Arrowhead Studios is preparing to address another fan request, as one of Helldivers 2's most popular items is set to receive a significant upgrade soon.

Responding to a fan's inquiry on Twitter about the possibility of reducing the Jump Pack’s cooldown, Arrowhead Studio’s Chief Creative Officer, Pilestedt, confirmed, "We are looking at the Jump Pack next patch." This signals a buff is on the horizon, to the excitement of the fans.

The need for a Jump Pack upgrade has been a hot topic in the community. A recent Reddit thread gained considerable traction, with players sharing their ideas on how Arrowhead could improve the underpowered stratagem.

Currently, the Jump Pack offers only a modest jump boost and is hindered by a lengthy cooldown period. Fans have been eagerly requesting a more traditional jetpack experience, allowing for extended air time and better mobility.

Several months ago, Arrowhead introduced the Dark Fluid Jump Pack, which provided a higher jump and faster recharge time, earning praise from the player base. Many are now hoping that the upcoming patch will bring similar enhancements to the standard Jump Pack, with some stating that even matching the Dark Fluid's recharge rate would be a welcome change.
