Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 has recently launched, with early access granted to players who pre-ordered the Gold or Ultra Editions. If you're one of these players, you might be eager to claim the bonus content included with your purchase. This guide will walk you through the steps to access and enjoy these exclusive items.

Claiming Your Pre-Order Bonus

Pre-ordering any edition of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 will gift the Macragge's Chosen DLC. This DLC features a special skin set inspired by the Ultramarines, including designs for your Bolt Rifle, Chainsword, and Pauldron (shoulder armor). While these skins are purely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay, they will give your character a unique appearance.

To claim these items, you'll need to progress through the story until you unlock the Armouring Hall on the Battle Barge. Once there, interact with Galeo, the character with multiple screens. Click on the 'Appearance' box at the bottom of the screen, and you should see two skin options: the Titus Bundle and Crux-Terminatus – Titus (Macragge's Chosen Pack). Select the latter to equip your pre-order skins. You can preview the skins by pressing the Left Shift button.

Accessing Gold Edition Content

The Gold Edition of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 includes the Year 1 Pass, which features a variety of cosmetic items released throughout the year. Currently, the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack is available.

To access these items, switch to either Operations or Eternal War mode, then visit the Armouring Hall and talk to Galeo. Click on 'Edit Armor,' then navigate to 'Astartes Chapters,' and select the 'DLC' section (the fourth option). Here, you'll find the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack. Note that these items must be unlocked through gameplay, each with its own criteria, so it may take some time to obtain them.

Accessing Ultra Edition Content

The Ultra Edition not only includes the season pass but also the Ultramarine Champion Pack, which offers exclusive skins for your Heavy Armor and Heavy Bolter. These cosmetics are restricted to Eternal War mode and are not available in Campaign mode.

To access these items, switch to Operations or Eternal War mode, then go to the Armory Hall and interact with Galeo. Make sure you're in the 'Heavy' tab, then click on 'Edit Armor.' Navigate to the 'Armor Sets' tab and select the 'Ultramarines Champion Pack' under the DLC section. This set is exclusively for the Heavy class.

For the Heavy Bolter skin, go to the 'Primary Weapon' section under the 'Heavy' tab. Click on the 'Heavy Bolter' tab, then select the 'Appearance' box on the right. Choose the DLC box and select the Ultramarines Weapon Skin to equip it.
