Deadlock Update Resolves Major Game-Breaking Issue

Valve has rolled out a new update for Deadlock, addressing a critical bug that affected the in-game shop functionality. This update not only fixes this major issue but also implements several adjustments to enhance the game's overall stability and performance.

Initially announced in August, Deadlock had already generated buzz since May when it entered an invite-only alpha on Steam. Currently, access to the closed beta remains limited to players who receive invitations from existing participants.

Beyond resolving shop-related issues, the September 29 update introduces several enhancements: the speed of heroes on outer ziplines has been increased by 20% compared to those on inner lanes. Additionally, the initial respawn time has been reduced from 12 seconds to 8 seconds. Finally, when using Mirage’s Traveler to teleport in Deadlock, the Urn that rewards players and their team with spirits will now drop, further enriching the gameplay experience.
