The app does an excellent job of providing the latest news. The theme centers on getting busy people up to date on the latest news without intruding on the reader's more important priorities. I also subscribe to the NY Times and the Washington Post. I appreciate their in-depth reporting, but USA Today's app does a better job of telling me the latest developments as they happen.

Notification quiet time doesn't work. Have it turned on so it doesnt make noise when im sleeping but it still does. Very annoying to have useless news alerts going off all night. I just disable all notificatios now which causes me to rarely use the app. prefer other news networks with better quality apps.

I'm a subscriber and appreciate the ad free platform. However, there are a few minor annoyances that I would like the developers to address. Please remove the banner that tells me I have x unread stories to read. It's also not necessary to continue tagging articles "for subscribers only" once subscribed. Also, please show the date for all articles in the overview. Thanks.

No Subscription? Don't GetThisApp I used to use the USA Today mobile site quite a bit a while back and thought the app would be handy. Instead, it wastes my data sending me notifications for articles I cannot read, and begs me to subscribe every minute or two. At $50 a year. It's fine to have subscriber exclusive articles but I don't want to waste my metered data to be notified about them, nor waste my time clicking on it for another "you need to subscribe" notice. Uninstalling.

Starting to lose interest. The constant, "hey, sign up for 4.99 then 9.99 in three months" is getting old fast. I've been using usa today since 2010, on my first iPhone. Now, on Android. Sadly, I find myself considering deleting this app after a decade of use. It is unfortunate. I know it takes money to keep things moving, but, my wallet is not for the news. The news should be available for all, not for those who want/can pay $120 a year. Update: deletion is imminent.
