The Aurora Notifier App is designed to notify users when there is a possibility of seeing the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis or Australis. The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send customizable notifications based on local aurora probability, Kp-index (Hp30), solar wind parameters (Bz/Bt), and Kp-level forecast for the evening. It also includes an alert feature that notifies users when other nearby app users have seen the aurora light display. The app allows users to upload aurora reports when they successfully see the aurora light display themselves. The premium version of the app offers additional technical information, graphs of Kp-index predictions, cloud cover, solar wind parameters, and hidden features that can be purchased within the app.
