Photographer's Companion is an application designed to assist photographers in adjusting their camera settings in manual mode. It is not a photo-taking app, but rather a tool to help control and optimize settings. The app is aimed at both amateur and professional photographers and provides features such as calculating exposure, depth of field, field of view, and shutter speed. It also allows users to capture sunrise/sunset, the moon, stars, and various other subjects, as well as calculate settings for different lighting conditions. The app offers a countdown for long exposures and is available in 16 languages. There is a Pro version available with additional features and no ads. Users are encouraged to provide feedback for improvements and translations.
The Photographer's Companion app offers the following advantages:

- Helps with capturing specific lighting conditions: It assists in capturing sunrise, sunset, golden hours, blue hours, moon phases, moonlit landscapes, stars, Milky Way, Northern lights, lightning, and fireworks.
- Provides additional tools: The app can calculate EV settings, distance or aperture with a flash, optimum settings based on lighting conditions, macro photo magnification, print size, timelapse, and camera characteristics.
