  • This truly is the most frustrating to use piece of cr@pware on here. It seems geared towards developed nations only. No gps signal, forget using it. No internet connection, forget using it. No packs shown, no packs available, and even those downloaded cannot be selected when there is no line. Truly discouraging. There'd be more records and sighting updates to the library if it wasn't so sh+ty to use.

  • Update on Sept. 18. Uninstalled version 2.0.1 and installed version 2.0.3. All seems to be good now! Thanks. Update on Sept. 16. Installed version 2.0.1. No longer get the System UI has stopped message. Now, after pressing Start Checklist the message Determing Your Position appears and then the app stops responding. Still unusable. Sept. 15: Latest version causes System UI to stop. Had to uninstall. Not happy as I use this app all the time. Android LG G6.

  • The app is great for logging a birding outing, but my biggest gripe is not being able to just log a new bird you happen to spot looking out the window, for example. For me, I'm rarely out looking for birds. I just look up from time to time and see things. It's too much of hassel to start a list, just to log a single bird.

  • To complicated, i just wanted a simple app to keep track of birds I've seen and want to see. This app forces to too add locations, times, amount of birds, how you observed them, blah blah. Once you create a list you submit it to the Cornell website for use in data analytics. Just give me a card collection but for birds.

  • Fabulously useful app, and getting better all the time! Does exactly what is promised - data entry in the field. My only problem is with cell tower access - not an app problem - but that has since been fixed by downloading 'Bird Packs' when internet access is available. Keep up the good work!

  • Superb piece of kit! Handy checklists for the area when out and about, you can see what other people have seen in the area, and it is giving a ton of scientific data to be used worldwide too. It would be nice to see it linked in with Merlin app with some id cues. Also able to upload media with photos and audio recordings on the desktop via browser. If you like birdwatching, get this and help build a database of movements of our feathered friends
