Released on September 6, Astro Bot is the sequel to the beloved Astro Bot Rescue Mission from 2018 and Astro's Playroom, which was pre-installed on PlayStation 5 at launch in 2020. This new installment has quickly garnered acclaim, achieving a 9.3/10 user score and a 94 Metascore on Metacritic, making it one of the highest-rated first-party PlayStation 5 games ever. The game has been celebrated for its engaging platforming mechanics and its nods to both classic and modern game franchises like Ape Escape, Street Fighter, Yakuza, and Persona.
