Honkai: Star Rail Introduces Character Rappa

In other exciting news, Honkai: Star Rail has officially introduced Rappa, the highly anticipated new character set to appear in Version 2.6. Previously hinted at in leaks, Rappa’s arrival has now been confirmed by HoYoverse, complete with details about her rarity, path, and lore.

As part of the game’s tradition, Honkai: Star Rail has started its drip marketing campaign for Rappa, who will join the roster in October. Rappa is a 5-star Imaginary-type character following the path of Erudition, specializing in multi-target damage. She is the first Imaginary unit among the game’s Erudition characters and is affiliated with the Galaxy Rangers—a faction that also includes Boothill, though their in-game relationship remains unclear.

Rappa is described as a unique ninja with a penchant for rapping, comics, and graffiti. She sports long pink hair in a ponytail, a cap with red horns, and a red jacket, while carrying a spray-paint can and wearing ninja sandals. Rappa’s abilities include an Ultimate that grants her an extra turn and three enhanced basic attacks dealing AoE damage. Her technique also features her surfing on her blade while leaving a graffiti trail and reducing enemy Toughness upon entering combat.

Rappa’s Toughness reduction might connect with the new Feigned Toughness mechanic set to debut in Version 2.5. While the Break Effect meta has been dominant recently, Feigned Toughness could make Rappa a key DPS character.
