Capcom has officially revealed the PC system requirements for Monster Hunter Wilds, the highly anticipated follow-up to Monster Hunter World. This announcement gives eager fans a chance to ensure their PCs are up to the task when Monster Hunter Wilds launches in February 2025.
Initially announced during The Game Awards 2023, Monster Hunter Wilds has been in development for several years. According to art director Kaname Fujioka, the team at Capcom has focused on introducing new features and improving the overall player experience following the success of Monster Hunter World.
The upcoming game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, marking the first time a Monster Hunter title will release simultaneously across all these platforms. While Monster Hunter Wilds is shaping up to be the most accessible game in the franchise for solo players, it will also feature four-player cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to team up against the toughest monsters.
Following the confirmation of its February 2025 release date during the latest PlayStation Showcase, Capcom has now shared the minimum and recommended PC specs for the game. For those looking to play at minimum settings, which includes upscaled 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second, the game will require an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card, alongside an Intel Core i5-10600, Intel Core i3-12100F, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and 16GB of RAM.
