Scopely has officially announced the much-anticipated Monopoly Go Marvel collaboration event. Speculation about this exciting crossover started circulating last week, with various leakers fueling the buzz on social media. As the current Monopoly Games season nears its end, the rumors have only intensified.
While the official Monopoly Go X social media page had hinted at the upcoming Marvel event through multiple teasers, players eagerly awaited official confirmation. That announcement finally came on September 24, 2024, putting the speculation to rest.

The Monopoly Go Marvel collaboration is part of a broader partnership between Scopely and Marvel Games, as reported by Variety. This event will bring beloved Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Avengers, along with other popular Disney-owned characters, into the world of Monopoly Go.
In the event's reveal trailer, Mr. Monopoly is seen working on a mysterious project in a science lab with his scientist friend when Peg-E, the robot from the prize drop event, accidentally activates a lever while chasing a butterfly. This mishap opens a portal, revealing Marvel heroes such as Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, and Rocket the Racoon. The heroes gaze at Mr. Monopoly and his friend from the other side of the portal. When Mr. Monopoly tosses a dice through the portal, Hulk grabs it, leading all the superheroes to enter the Monopoly Go universe.

According to the official trailer, the Marvel collaboration event will debut in Monopoly Go on September 26, 2024. As this date also marks the end of the current season, the community widely anticipated that it would coincide with the launch of the new season.
