Installed fine and visually the app looks clean. -1 star for asking my location. Im on the local network. Why do you need my location?? It found my router with no issues but won't do anything else. My router is supported. Clicking the router entry in the list just causes the app to search again. Obviously the app could be useful if it worked

App works great for me for the most part. Only issues are 1. It shows wired connection for some wireless connections, and shows connected and then disconnected devices that don't exist. They share names with existing devices, but Mac addresses that don't exist. They are not strangers connecting to my router, as I have no neighbors and live in the middle of the woods. 2. Custom icons don't save. How annoying to dl and apply 30+ icons to have them wiped out when reopening the app. Please fix.

The app used to work about 80% of the time but I had to reset my router. While doing this I updated to the latest firmware thinking the bugs that I encountered months ago with it making the app unusable would have been resolved by now. I was incorrect. I can access the firmware via web browser but, as others have mentioned, the app tells me that the login info I'm trying to use is incorrect. This is the same info I use via the web browser. I'd like the app to work as it was convenient.

App worked great on my old AC68U. 8 years and the router died. New AC1900 which I'm pretty sure is the same router. App won't find the router. Uninstalled and reinstalled tried again still won't find my router. App on phone, phone connected to router, app says not on right network to find router, only one network. Was good now worthless. Update: Don't really know how I did it, opened the app again played with it a bit and there was my router. Now everything seems to work.

A lot need to be worked on. Doesn't seem to remember devices that was previously on network. What's the most important part for a router app is to manage devices, and it failed. And monitoring unknown devices is the main concern. It doesn't always remember devices and most importantly, it doesn't alert you when a new device or an unknown device got on. Without alerts, it's quite useless. It doesn't monitor nor prevent anything. By the time you noticed anything it's too latex they're gone.

Poor performance. I have an RT-AC88U and the app for both Android and iOS have always been laggy. Recently the Android app frequently times out during the discovery process. When it does connect to the router applying parental guidance settings is slow or fails. This is an expensive router with dual core processor. It has the latest firmware, the app is up to date. Update, restarted phone app now working better, they should improve reliability.
