In the Iki Island DLC for Ghost of Tsushima, players can solve three Wind Shrine puzzles to earn special armor pieces inspired by other PlayStation classics. Among these coveted rewards are the Bloodborne-themed Yharnam Helm and Vestments. This guide will walk you through the steps to conquer the Blood-Stained Shrine and secure these unique items.

Finding the Blood-Stained Shrine

To begin your quest for the Bloodborne armor, you first need to locate the Blood-Stained Shrine. This shrine is situated at Gonoura Cape on the western side of Iki Island. Although the shrine should eventually appear on your in-game map, you can use the map provided below for assistance. When you arrive, you’ll see a large statue and a scroll—signs that you’re in the right place and ready to tackle the puzzle.

Solving the Blood-Stained Shrine Puzzle

Start by equipping the Kensei Armor, one of the top-tier armor sets in Ghost of Tsushima. You can acquire the Kensei Armor by completing the Six Blades of Kojiro Mythic Tale, which you can begin by speaking with the musician Yamato at Umugi Cove in the southwestern corner of Toyotama. This tale involves defeating five Straw Hats.

With the Kensei Armor equipped, climb up the high rocks surrounding the Blood-Stained Shrine and jump down to take some damage. Approach the shrine and press down on the D-Pad to heal. This action will trigger a brief cutscene where Jin Sakai is surrounded by crows. Once the cutscene concludes, you’ll be rewarded with the Yharnam Helm and Yharnam Vestments.

It’s important to note that the Yharnam Helm is an independent item that you can equip or remove as desired. The Yharnam Vestments, on the other hand, are a style variant of the Kensei Armor. You can switch between the Vestments and the default Kensei Armor look by pressing left and right on the D-Pad when selecting your armor in the Outfits menu. This allows you to customize your appearance, so you don’t always have to dress like Eileen the Crow while wearing the Kensei Armor.
