Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Leak Unveils Expansion for the Simulated Universe

A recent leak has unveiled that Honkai: Star Rail will see an expansion of its Simulated Universe in the upcoming version 2.6. This fresh update is expected to bring a host of new features, including additional playable characters, relic sets, and events, set to debut next month. Among the highlights, the leak reveals the introduction of Rappa, a five-star character aligned with the Path of Erudition.

Version 2.6 will not only expand the Simulated Universe but also introduce new bosses and adversaries for the game's endgame content. Leaks suggest that a formidable new boss named the Harmonious Chair will be added to the Apocalyptic Shadow mode. This majestic entity is essentially a boss version of Sunday, which players will encounter in the Penacony region.

According to a recent leak from Sakura Haven, the Simulated Universe expansion will bring a new domain where players will face off against various enemies. The new content will involve clearing challenges in the Scattered Archives and Mundanite Assembly domains, potentially uncovered by Honkai: Star Rail's Herta and Screwllum. This update might also include several new Curios, Occurrences, or Blessings.

What to Expect from the Simulated Universe Expansion

The expansion of the Simulated Universe is slated for release in late October, in line with HoYoverse's typical update timeline. Additional details about this new domain are likely to be shared during a livestream event next month.

In Honkai: Star Rail, the Simulated Universe is a combat-focused mode where players battle various enemies across different domains to earn valuable rewards such as Stellar Jades and Star Rail Passes. Players must select a path before engaging enemies, which influences their Resonance abilities throughout the encounter. Each Resonance offers unique benefits, with Hunt enhancing speed, critical hits, and action order, while Elation boosts follow-up attacks.

Additionally, Honkai: Star Rail has recently introduced the Divergent Universe, an expansion of the Simulated Universe. This permanent mode allows players to farm Planar Ornaments and enhance their characters, with the Divergent Universe: Human Comedy becoming available after completing World 3 in the original Simulated Universe.
