A recent leak has unveiled that Honkai: Star Rail may soon introduce a 5-star version of the popular character Herta, a development that has fans buzzing with excitement. A member of the Genius Society and the Emanator of Nous, the Aeon of Erudition, Herta is far more than a typical character. Interestingly, the Herta players interact with in the game is just a puppet, leaving fans eager to see if the real Herta would ever make an appearance. The Leak: A 5-Star Herta Incoming

Renowned Honkai: Star Rail leaker HomDGCat recently shared details about a 5-star version of Herta that could be arriving in future updates. This new unit would introduce players to the real Herta, in contrast to the puppet they currently know. Much like how Dan Heng has both a standard version and the more powerful Imbibitor Lunae form, this new Herta would be a separate playable character. However, it’s expected that unlike Dan Heng, Herta’s 5-star version will retain her original Path (Erudition) and Element (Ice). Early leaks had hinted at a Fire-type Herta, but those plans appear to have been scrapped in favor of this exciting new version.

What We Know About 5-Star Herta's Abilities

The leak also sheds light on Herta’s upgraded kit. Most of her damage would reportedly come from her Skill, which operates in three stages. First, her Skill marks a single target and triggers an explosion. The mark then spreads to nearby enemies, detonating them as well. Finally, the explosion spreads to even more adjacent units, delivering another wave of damage. Once this chain reaction concludes, all marks disappear. Herta’s Ultimate would deal damage to all enemies and apply a stacking buff, potentially making her one of the most powerful Erudition units in the game.
