Fortnite has taken a complete turn from its previous futuristic theme and embraced a wild theme for Chapter 4 Season 3, aptly named WILDS. With this update, developers have introduced a brand new jungle biome on the map, featuring mysterious temples. These temples house intriguing puzzles that players can solve to earn various rewards. Here's a guide on how to find and solve the Flame Puzzles at the Temple Ruins in Fortnite.

Flame Puzzles in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS

Within the temples, players can solve puzzles to unlock different rooms filled with chests, ammo, and rare items. To access the second loot route in the Southern Ruin and Hidden Ruin temples, players must first solve a puzzle that involves offering a high-rarity item as a trade to open the temple door.

Once inside the next room, players will encounter another locked door with a command to "find flames" and "match flames." This room will contain several braziers, some lit and others unlit, all with purple flames. To solve the puzzle, players need to locate braziers on different levels of the temple and either extinguish or light them to match their counterparts.

Where to Find Flames at the Hidden Ruin in Fortnite

After opening the initial temple door in the Hidden Ruin, players will come across a locked door that requires matching flames. The set of braziers needed for the puzzle can be found underneath the secret room where players are currently standing. To reach them, players need to drop down from the makeshift bridge. There will be four braziers, and players must remember which ones are lit and which ones are not. They must then return to the upper level and match the braziers by lighting and extinguishing them accordingly.

Where to Find Flames at the Southern Ruin in Fortnite

To locate the first locked door in the Southern Ruin temple, players should head south of the Apparatus and descend underground using the stairs. By opening the door with a high rarity weapon trade, players will enter another room with five braziers. One brazier will be positioned in the center, while the others will be in the four corners of the room.

To solve the flame puzzle, players must compare the brazier in the middle, located at ground level and just above the secret room, with the other four flames found on the first level. Players can reach the first level by using the ascender. Once again, they must compare the braziers and light or extinguish them accordingly to successfully match all the flames at both Temple Ruins in Fortnite.
