With the Modern Warfare trilogy wrapped up, all eyes are now on the next chapter in the Call of Duty saga: Black Ops 6. Set to be the most ambitious title in the franchise, Black Ops 6 will continue the story from Cold War and aims to become the ultimate Call of Duty experience. Although initial teasers were shrouded in mystery, we've gathered all the details you need about this eagerly awaited release.

Mark your calendars: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on Friday, October 25, 2024.
You won’t need to upgrade your console just yet. Black Ops 6 will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. True to its roots, the game will support cross-platform play, ensuring you can team up with friends no matter what system they’re on.
The reveal trailer places us in the year 1991, following the events of Cold War. Russel Adler returns in Kuwait, and a web of conspiracies involving a shadowy group known as The Pantheon begins to unravel. Players will team up with Adler, and new characters Sev and Felix, to counteract these covert threats. Veteran Frank Woods, now a CIA mentor, will guide your character, Troy Marshall.

The footage showcases a diverse array of missions—from intense firefights and stealth operations to non-violent tasks like robbing a casino. The game will feature a flexible mission structure, allowing players to approach objectives in various ways, reminiscent of Modern Warfare 3.
In Zombies mode, we’ll meet a new cast including Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie "Mac" Carver, and others. Set in a Terminus outpost in the Philippine Sea, the storyline picks up after Cold War’s Zombies mode, focusing on survival and finding Mac’s missing brother.
Black Ops 6 introduces "Omnimovement," a major gameplay overhaul that allows players to sprint in any direction, including backward. Movement options like sliding and diving have also been refined for smoother gameplay.
Multiplayer will debut with 16 new maps: 12 designed for 6v6 modes and 4 that support both 6v6 and 2v2. The Prestige system returns, offering 10 Prestige levels and an additional 1,000 levels after reaching Prestige Master.

For the first time, players can fully customize their HUD to fit their preferences. Zombies mode will revert to its arcade-style roots, featuring two new round-based maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls. New additions include the Beamsmasher weapon, with three damage types, and the Mutant Injection killstreak, allowing temporary transformation into a Mangler. Augments will let players upgrade perks and mods with both major and minor enhancements.
A new feature allows solo players to save and quit Zombies matches, a welcome change given the often lengthy gameplay sessions.
The Opening Night Live 2024 showcased a campaign level called "Most Wanted," where players engage in a hostage rescue mission that escalates into a high-octane firefight. The level introduces new elements like a remote-detonated explosive knife and thrilling motorcycle chases.
Recent leaks have revealed potential Scorestreaks and Combat Perks, though they should be taken with caution. Expected Scorestreaks include the RC-XD and Chopper Gunner, while Perks like Dexterity and Gung-Ho offer various gameplay enhancements.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available for preorder in two editions:
- Cross-Gen Bundle - $70: Includes the base game, open beta access, Woods Operator Pack.
- BO6 Vault - $100: Includes everything in the Cross-Gen Bundle plus the Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack, Mastercraft Collection, BlackCell (1 Season), and a GobbleGum Pack for Zombies.
Prepare for a thrilling new chapter in the Call of Duty universe and stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches!
