Fortnite has revealed that it will no longer refresh Survivor Medal Quests once Chapter 6 begins. To fully complete the Battle Pass in Fortnite, players must achieve level 100 by the season's end. However, those looking to maximize their experience can aim to unlock all Quest Rewards and Bonus Rewards, which are additional pages of Battle Pass rewards available through the completion of Weekly Quests and accumulating substantial XP—extending far beyond level 100.
To navigate the Bonus Rewards page and secure all Super Styles in Fortnite, players should engage in nearly daily gameplay throughout the season, tackling as many quests as possible. This includes participating in event quests and seasonal tasks like Survivor Medal Quests, Milestone Quests, Kickstart Quests, and Story Quests. These quests are regularly refreshed and can be completed each season.
Quests represent one of the most reliable sources of XP in Fortnite, particularly since many players who invest in the Battle Pass primarily engage in Battle Royale. As a result, they typically earn experience through matches, accolades, and quests. Unfortunately, Epic Games has confirmed that Survivor Medal Quests will be removed when Chapter 5 Season 4 concludes. While it seems reasonable for these quests to be unavailable temporarily with the transition to Season 2 of OG Fortnite, players had anticipated their return with the new chapter.
In recent seasons, Fortnite has altered the number of seasonal quests released and the XP awarded for completing them. This shift has frustrated some fans, as the XP rewards often decrease, making it more challenging to reach level 139 and unlock all V-Bucks in the Fortnite Battle Pass.
Though each stage of the Survivor Medal Quests awards only 10,000 XP, the total potential XP is significant. Players must complete 70 stages to reach Mythic 1, translating to a maximum of 700,000 XP from these quests—nearly nine account levels worth.
Additionally, participants in the Survivor Medal Quests earn the Prized Llama back bling, with additional styles unlocking as they increase their Survivor Medal rank. It remains unclear whether players will retain the Prized Llama back bling or any of its styles after the quests are discontinued.
Given the long-standing presence of Survivor Medal Quests, many players will have reached various ranks over the seasons, leading to community speculation regarding whether they will receive a style that reflects their highest rank achieved, all styles earned, or simply their most recently unlocked rank.
