Mutators play a crucial role in the build customization of Remnant 2. These attachments grant weapons special bonuses, allowing them to better complement Archetype skills and accessories. Among them, Bulletweaver stands out as a top choice for players focused on rapid-fire setups and boosting Mod Generation.
As with many sought-after items in Remnant 2, Bulletweaver is tucked away in one of the game’s various worlds. Finding it can be a bit tricky due to the random nature of dungeon layouts and room spawns. Here's a straightforward guide to help you locate the elusive Bulletweaver Mutator.
To get your hands on the Bulletweaver, you’ll need to roll a Yaesha world that features a dungeon containing the Hidden Library secret passage. In the base game, you have a chance to encounter this passage within the Endaira's End dungeon. If you’re playing the Forgotten Kingdom DLC, you might also stumble upon the Hidden Library in the Earthen Coliseum or Proving Grounds dungeons.
While exploring these areas, look for the statue depicted above. Break the pots to the right of it, revealing a hole that leads to the hidden library. Ascend the stairs, continue forward, and navigate to the corner of the hall where you'll trigger a pressure plate. This action opens a hidden door, leading to a battle against the Atrophy and Rot Stalker Aberrants.
Once you defeat these minibosses, you’ll be rewarded with the Bulletweaver Mutator along with Corrupted Lumenite Crystals. Be sure to search the rest of the Hidden Library to find the Burden of the Follower ring as well.
The Bulletweaver Mutator increases the rate of fire for any weapon it’s attached to. Like other Mutators, you can upgrade it by speaking with Dwell, the Pan merchant near the firing range in Ward 13. With each upgrade, Bulletweaver’s fire rate bonus grows, and at level 10, it also boosts your weapon's Mod Generation by 15%.
Bulletweaver is especially effective when paired with the Nightfall rifle in Remnant 2. This weapon comes equipped with a Mod called Dreadwalker, which grants infinite ammo, a 25% fire rate boost, and 10% lifesteal while active. Bulletweaver’s fire rate bonus stacks with Dreadwalker’s effects, and the increased Mod Generation allows players to activate Dreadwalker more frequently, making it a perfect synergy for high-paced combat.
