EA recently announced that Skate 4 will enter early access in 2025, marking a significant milestone as it comes fifteen years after Skate 3. This latest installment, rebranded simply as skate., will be a free-to-play live service game and will introduce a full replay system, a first for the franchise.

While major AAA skateboarding games have diminished in visibility in recent years, the indie game scene has worked to keep the spirit of skateboarding alive.
