Metal Slug: Awakening Now in Open Beta in Southeast Asia

The latest installment in the iconic Metal Slug series, Metal Slug: Awakening, is now available in Open Beta for players across Southeast Asia. The game can be accessed on both Android and iOS platforms.

Originally announced in 2021, Metal Slug: Awakening held two successful alpha tests previously in the Philippines and Indonesia. It now opens wider for Southeast Asian fans and players to enjoy.

Developers aim to capture the same fun combat and arcade gameplay of past Metal Slug titles that made the franchise so popular. Players can experience identical action with revamped 3D visuals and new features enhancing the experience.

Classic levels and maps from previous games are included for nostalgia. Challenges span familiar locations like pyramids, deserts and mines. Additionally, more modes like cooperative world exploration await, allowing teams of three chosen characters.

Characters and weapons to experiment with provide extensive content. The beta also marks the long-awaited return of this beloved series for devoted fans.
