Honkai: Star Rail has kicked off an exciting new in-game event that gives players an opportunity to farm valuable Planar Ornaments at an accelerated pace. This popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse offers numerous ways to enhance characters, featuring a variety of items that cater to different playstyles. The game’s Light Cones provide powerful bonuses tailored to specific characters, while Relics offer general buffs applicable to a broader range of heroes. Now, HoYoverse has unveiled its latest event centered on Planar Ornaments.
Planar Ornaments function similarly to Relics in Honkai: Star Rail, but the methods for acquiring them differ significantly. These Ornaments grant players a variety of potent buffs, though access to additional Relics is restricted to certain areas. The primary way to farm Planar Ornaments is through the Simulated Universe game mode, where they can be earned as rewards for completing Elite stages. With this new event, HoYoverse is providing fans with an even easier way to obtain these coveted items.
The new Planar Fissure event officially launches on Monday, September 23, and will last for one week. During this event, players who collect Planar Ornaments from both the Simulated Universe and the Divergent Universe will enjoy double rewards. However, the rewards will be capped, limiting the number of double rewards players can earn each day. The event will commence at 4:00 A.M. server time on September 23 and will conclude on September 30.
This latest Planar Fissure event comes on the heels of Honkai: Star Rail introducing several new Planar Ornaments for players to collect. In Version 2.5, two fresh sets—the "Wondrous BananAmusement Park" and "Lushaka, the Sunken Seas"—have been added, each designed to offer unique buffs for the new characters introduced in this update. For instance, Feixiao will see increased Crit DMG, while Lingsha will benefit from enhanced Energy Regeneration.
The introduction of the Planar Ornament event adds to the wealth of new content released in Version 2.5. In addition to the new characters, Feixiao appears as a boss for players to challenge, known as the "Shadow of Feixiao" in the Echo of War battles. This update also introduces the long-awaited Pet feature, rewarding players with the "Tukspir" during the Luminary Wardance event. Overall, Version 2.5 of Honkai: Star Rail is brimming with exciting content for fans of the RPG.
