Ludo stands as a timeless dice and race game, where each player commands four pieces and a set of dice. Presently, this version of Ludo accommodates two players, each with two sets of pieces. Within this game, every player oversees eight pieces with the objective of guiding all pieces home before their opponent.

Moving the pieces:

Commencing the game, the player with the red pieces takes the lead (in the event of victory, the defeated player initiates the next game with the red pieces).

A piece can only exit its home when a dice roll yields a 6, while a piece already on the board can advance with any dice result. Pieces journey through the board from home to the center, progressing through a total of 56 steps.

A piece can only be eliminated by reaching the end of the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

Capturing pieces:

A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by reaching a space occupied by the opponent's piece. The captured piece returns home, while the player's piece exits the board.

Success in the game hinges on capturing as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while evading being captured yourself.

A piece cannot capture an opponent's piece if the remaining dice outcome cannot be utilized.

Crucial reminders:

A player can consecutively roll the dice twice or more only if each roll results in a 6 (first roll = 6 and second roll = 6).

Each dice outcome must be utilized before rolling the dice again, irrespective of the result.
