Kinky Harvest is developed by a small independent studio named CuteCuddleGames that invested months of work and over 1,000 hours of coding to reach its current state. Music, UI and code assets were produced by paid or donated contributors and the team reports more than 400 pages of handcrafted text so far. Early visual content relied on thousands of generated images with plans to replace and commission new art chosen by the community over time.
The current release is listed as version 0.0.1.7; the project began with an early 0.0.1 build that contained over 5,000 images. The development roadmap emphasizes ongoing content updates and gradual replacement of initial assets as the title matures.
