Fototun is an educational science game that puts players in charge of a plant’s growth, using interactive gameplay to explore photosynthesis and the carbon cycle. Players guide seedlings through stages, use a virtual microscope to inspect internal processes, and learn how sunlight, water and air become plant food. Fototun was developed by Básica Asesores Educativos in collaboration with Inoma, a Mexican non-governmental organization that supports education through free TAK-TAK-TAK educational video games. These games are produced in alignment with Mexico's basic education curricula and can also be accessed online using the same user credentials as the app.
