Thesaurus - Rogue Words is a solo-made word puzzle roguelike that challenges you to form as many valid words as possible from eight randomly drawn letters while racing a ticking clock. In Thesaurus - Rogue Words each stage blends crossword and Scrabble-style mechanics with roguelike progression: reach a target score before the timer runs out, avoid mistakes that subtract time, and choose strategic upgrades between stages to shape every run.
Draw eight random letters per stage and build words to reach a target score before the timer expires. Mistakes subtract time, so accuracy and speed are both important. Progress through 15 increasingly difficult stages, face bosses every three stages, and visit a shop between runs to buy upgrades and items. The game contains a large playable dictionary with 120,000 words and 120,000 definitions and offers 20,000 letter draws for variety. Multiple characters, game modes and difficulty levels let you tailor the challenge.
Fully offline experience with no ads, no data collection and no in-app purchases for uninterrupted single-player play. An extensive word database and definitions support vocabulary play and learning during runs. Roguelike elements such as shops, items and an endless mode add strategic depth and replayability.
The deliberately demanding difficulty curve may frustrate players seeking a relaxed word game. There is no online multiplayer or integrated social features—focus is strictly on single-player runs.
